It's another beautiful, sunny day here in Northern Ontario as Princess Ruby sits proudly on her eggs. Today she's facing traffic, maybe expecting company or something. ;) It seems she's picked a great spot though, her only issue to date was a wasp. I remember hearing her screaming her angry call that day. I get up to see what's wrong and she's battling a huge hornet from her nest. I mean that hornet was big enough to eat the eggs! Brave girl though..I hate hornets!

Now I know this has nothing to do with my Robin on the porch, but I have never seen the likes of this. I have two large fish tanks with different species of gold fish in both (easier to keep alive haha). Most of the fish I have, have been with me for 5 yrs. This particular tank, the black moore I have had for yrs, but the other 3 are fairly new. Anyways, what's strange about this picture, is if you notice, they are all laying on the bottom of the tank, resting! Resting.. I never new fish did such a thing. First time I saw it, I thought my fish were dying. Anyone else have fish do this? Actually, don't they look like they are posing for the camera?

Well, looks like day 9 was actually day 14, boy was I off! So from this page on, it will be day one of the birth and so on.
