Day Seven, Eggs unhatched

I am guessing this is day 7 or so since the nest was built and the two eggs hatched. I hadn't noticed the nest and eggs until last Thursday, July 14 while trimming the tree. I actually felt bad I trimmed it as she's more open now. I will however, let it grow back in.

She is very close to the door and flies away everytime the door handle is touched. I am afraid that the eggs may not hatch if she isn't around enough. Between the heat all week and the heavy rain which her nest is protected from last night, July 18th, 2005, I worry about the hatching.

I hope the rain last night didn't scare her away.
